Felice Trovatello immigrated to Australia in 1954 at the age of 18 with all his worldly possessions contained in one suitcase. With little knowledge of the English language or the Australian environment he set off with a dream for a better lifestyle.
Upon a visit to Central Victoria, Felice realised the climate was reminiscent of the Southern Italian region of Calabria where he originated. This inspired him to establish an Olive Grove and processing facility which now produces one of the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oils in the Southern Hemisphere.
In a modern era where people have busy lifestyles Kyneton have introduced a 'Infused Oils' to add extra flavour to meals without the inconvenience of sourcing items which may be out of season. Lemon Infused Oil can be drizzled over fish, roasts, vegtables, stirfrys and salads along with many other dishes.
