Shish Tawook is a deliciously versatile Middle Eastern chicken dish. It can be grilled on a large rotating spit and sliced into a wrap or barbecued using skewers and served on a plate with your favourite salad. An alternative favourite of our family is to cook the marinated chicken in the oven with potatoes, in which case we would select larger pieces of chicken such as thighs, which are less prone to drying out. Chicken is typically used with Shish Tawook, although we hope you experiment with the Sami's Kitchen Shish Tawook blend and maybe try it with your preferred fish. You may also like to try it sprinkled over vegetables before baking. Size: 82g resealable stand-up pouch. Ingredients: Garlic, Paprika, Pimento, Nutmeg, Thyme, Cinnamon.
You Will Need: • 1kg boneless Chicken breast • 40-60g Shish Tawook Spice Blend (to taste) • 1/2 cup Olive Oil • 80ml fresh Lemon Juice • 25g crushed Garlic • Salt to taste • Lebanese/Pita Bread
