A thin, crisp, flaky, Andalucían sweet biscuit flat bread originating from Seville in Spain. The recipe and method is more than 100 years old and you can’t just stop at one of these sweet, aniseed almond and sesame treats.
Perfect with coffee or, as a snack. Each “torta” is individually wrapped making it quite presentable at the table. We actually like to serve them with cheese as well, particularly Monte Enebro goat’s cheese or Valdeon Blue.
